Coy Robinson, Jr., 79, of Hickman died on November 28, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Robinson was a self-employed business and land owner. He retired from the US Corp of Engineers after 25 years of service. Coy served in the U. S. Army and as commanding officer in the National Guard. He also was a 50 year Mason and had served several terms as a Hickman City Commissioner and attended the First United Methodist Church. Mr. Robinson was born on March 1, 1935 to the late Coy Robinson, Sr. and Mildred (Lindsey) Robinson, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce P. Robinson. Survivors include his son, Coy “Robby” Robinson, III of Hickman and grandson, J. C. Robinson of Hickman. Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM at Strong Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2014 with Rev. Henry Callison officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3rd at Strong Funeral Home.
