Mrs. Annie Margaret Johnson, 82, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Hickman, KY departed this earthly life on Saturday December 24, 2016 at the Bentwood Wood Nursing Home in Florissant, MO. She was born in Hickman, KY on December 15, 1934 to the late Percy Jenkins and the late Irene Jenkins. Mrs. Johnson was employed at the former Salant & Salant Plant in Martin, TN for 15 years then by the H.I.S. Plant in South Fulton, TN until she retired. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in South Fulton, TN. Survivors include her sons, Demus (Kim) Winters of Mayfield, KY and Freddie (Sharon) Winters of Augusta GA; daughters, Rhonda Jenkins of St. Louis, MO and Lagetta (Shawn) Baldwin of Smyrna, TN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Percy and Irene Johnson, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Johnson, children, Rickey Winters, Vanessa Winters and Teresa Phelps and sisters, Katherine Smith and Mildred Cruse. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in South Fulton, TN with Rev. Marvin Mercer, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery with Sam Jones, Henry Thomas, Thomas Walker, James Estes, James Johnson and Tony Wilkins serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Baldwin, Bobbie Giles, Stanley Green, Wayne Smith, Ralph Winters and Elijah Walker. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the church.
