Freddie Bing, Jr.

Mr. Freddie Bing, Jr., 81, of Martin, TN, formerly of Hickman, KY passed away on June 22, 2017 at the Baptist Hospital in Union City, TN Funeral services are scheduled at Strong Funeral Home for Saturday, June 24th at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Kerry Shopher and Rev. Henry Callison will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Hickman City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scotty Johnson, Robert Callahan, David Callahan, Bobby Callahan, Jimmy Simmons, and William Simmons. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday. Survivors include one brother, Carl Bing of Foxboro, MA and three sisters, Fay Simmons of Fulton, KY, Thelma Callahan of Martin, TN and Sarah Johnson of Hickman, KY Mr. Bing was born in Hickman, KY on February 14, 1936. His parents were the late Fred Bing and the late Lena (Jones) Bing. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Daniel Bing. He was a member of the Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church near Hickman and had been employed by the former Lear Siegler Plant in Union City, TN Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Gideons International, P.
