Mr. Harry Swayne Barry, 86, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Hickman, KY died on February 1, 2018 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL. Swayne was born on May 14, 1931 in Hickman, KY. His parents, Harry Alexander Barry and Mary B. (Parham) Barry preceded him in death. He was of Methodist faith and a self-employed in lawn maintenance. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Biff and Sandy Barry of Clay, KY, daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Tony Brunet of Royal Oak, MI, daughter, Suzanne Skonieczny of Vero Beach, FL, sister, Nancy Richards of Union City, TN, grandchildren, David Barry, Amy Thien, Joshua Brunet, Matthew Brunet, Michelle Neal and Sara Gasparotto, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at Strong Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2018 1:00 PM with Rev. Randy Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday at Strong Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until service time. David Barry, Joshua Brunet, Matthew Brunet, Brett Barry, Adam Neal, Caleb Brunet and Tony Brunet will service as pallbearers.
