Stover Cunningham

Alpha (Stover) Cunningham Jr. born on February 2, 1932, in Obion County, TN to the late Alpha and Suedell Cunningham passed away at his residence Monday, February 24, 2025.

He was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church in Pilot Oak, KY. He was a retired Tool and Dye maker for A.B Dick in Chicago, IL and also had worked for the former Stanley Jones Contractors in South Fulton, TN and also loved to bowl, fish and play the guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Cunningham, one daughter, Laurie (John) Dacus of Dukedom, TN, one son, Alpha (Steve) Cunningham III (Jackie) of Paducah, Ky; nine grandchildren, Lt. Col. Joe (Jenn) Dacus of Germany, Matt (Andrea) Dacus of Paducah, KY, Ben (Heather) Bryant of Union City, TN, Thomas Bryant of Union City, TN, Adam (Sheri) Cunningham of Paducah, KY, Amanda (Stan) Clark of Springboro, OH, Lucan (Brook) Cunningham, Indianapolis, IN, Micah (Carrie) Cunningham of Paducah, KY, Petty Officer Caleb (Chelsea) Cunningham of Detroit, MI; twenty seven great grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Wells of Olive Branch, MS and Ann (Mike) Cherry of Dukedom, TN.

In addition to his parents, Stover is preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Ann Cunningham; one daughter, Susie Brooker; four brothers and two sisters.
