Alvah June Harper

Mrs. June Harper, age 83, of McKenzie, TN and formerly of the Martin and Dresden area died Saturday, December 9, 2017 at her residence.
She was a member of the Siloan Baptist Church. She had worked as a
nurses aid for the Christian Northwest in St. Louis, MO and moved to
the Martin and Dresden area 30 years ago.
Mrs. Harper is survived by two daughters; Dawn (James) Mills of McKenzie, TN, Leisa (Ronald) Brewer of Murfreesboro, TN, two sons; Robert Glenn Harper of Dallas, TN, Joseph Brent (Karen) Harper of Sharon, TN, three sisters; Glenda Chase of Milan, TN, Sherry Goudey of Martin, TN, Robbie Lyons of Fulton, KY, three brothers; Steve Forrester of Latham, TN, Donnie Forrester of Miami, FL and Tim Forrester of Dresden, TN, seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hawker Harper,Jr,
a son Robert Hawker Harper III, three brothers, four sisters and her parents, Odie and Goldie Baldridge Forrester.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM Saturday at the Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom with burial to follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Jackson Funeral Home from 11AM Saturday until the hour of service.
