Barbara Ann Toombs

Mrs. Barbara Ann Toombs age 68 of Hickman, Ky passed away Thursday, November 20, 2024, at the Baptist Hospital in Union City, TN. Mrs. Toombs was born in Fulton County, KY to the late Ken Johnson and Eleanor "Elks" Johnson. She was of the Baptist faith and lived all her life in this area. Mrs. Toombs was a graduate of Fulton County High School and had worked most of her career in the sewing industry.

Mrs. Toombs is survived by her husband Mr. Terry Toombs of Mayfield, KY, and her children, Phillip Toombs and David Johnson of Hickman, KY. Her grandchildren; Skyler (Beth) Johnson of Fulton, KY, Paden Johnson of Hickman, KY, and Brookelyn Chambers of Union City, TN. one great-grandchild; Kenadie Johnson, and one sister, Betty Simmons of Clinton, KY.

in addition to her parents, Mrs. Toombs is predeceased by one brother Mr. James "Bubba" Johnson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Toombs will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman, KY. with burial to follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Barbara Ann Toombs will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman from 12:30 Sunday until the funeral hour.
