Mrs. Betty Nelson of Fulton,KY died early Wednesday morning at her home.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton KY and had lived in this area all of her lifetime. She was a retired bookeeper for the
Fulton Electric System and she was also a Certified Licensed Antique Appraiser. After retirement she was co-owner of the former Park Terrace Antiques in South Fulton TN.
She is survived by a son, Major General (Retired) Tom Lynn of Macon GA, three daughters, Dee Dee Lynn Biggert of Austin TX, Gaye Nelson Proctor of Warren MI, and Jan Lee Nelson Lewis of Bothell WA, nine grandchildren,one great grandchild and a brother Ed George of Seattle WA.
She was preceded in death her first husband, Bill Lynn and her second husband H.H. (Tar) Nelson, her parents Harry and Nora (Yates) George, six brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Kenton Cemetery in Lone Oak KY. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10AM Friday until the funeral hour.
