Mr. Billie Owen of South Fulton died Saturday, November 9, 2013
at the Park Terrace Village in South Fulton, TN.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton, KY. where he served as a deacon for over 40 years and taught Sunday School class for years. He was a self employed farmer and a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps. He lived all of his life in this area.
He is survived by a daughter, Kim (Bob) Combs of South Fulton, TN.,
a son, Ted H. (Dianne) Owen of South Fulton, TN., five grandchildren, Jennifer Amy Delloma of Springhill KS., Kelly Rose Combs and Joshua Paul Combs both of Springfield, MO., Brett Hamilton Owen of Hendersonville, TN., Seth Warren Owen of Smyrna, TN., two great grandchildren, Morgan Rose Delloma of Springhill, KS., and Lennox Owen of Hendersonville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva H. Owen November 18, 2011, his parents, W.D. Owen, Sr. and Ethel (Russell) Owen, a brother, John R. Owen and a sister, Edna Ann Warren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Fulton, KY. Burial will follow in the Johnson Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Owen will lie in state at the church after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour.
