Mr. Billy Westmoreland of Fulton died Friday at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis TN.
He was a member of the South Fulton United Methodist Church and was
a veteran of the U.S. Marines having served during WWII. He was a retired switchman for the Illinois Central Railroad. He had lived all of his life in this area.
He is survived by his wife Nell (Speight) Westmoreland to whom he
married August 31, 1951, of Fulton, KY., a neice, JoAnna Damons of
Dickson, TN., two great neices Kathryn Jerman of Water Valley, KY.,
an Kayla Damons of Ashville, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lilie (McClain) and James Leslie Westmoreland, a nephew, Brian Bennett and a brother James Charles Westmoreland.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home after 9AM Tuesday until the service hour.
