Mr. Bob McKnight of South Fulton, TN died July 3,2009 at the Martin
Healthcare Center in Martin, TN.
He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in South
Fulton, had retired from the former Stanley Jones Corp. and had also worked for Andrews Jewerly and Standard Fruit Company in Fulton,KY.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran having served in World War II. He was in the South Pacific with B Company, 9th Regiment, 3rd Marine Division. He was also a member of the V.F.W. in Union City, TN. He had lived
in this area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Martha Jane (Roberts)
McKnight of South Fulton, TN and a daughter Rebecca Jane McKnight of Memphis, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fannie (Kilgore) and
Burnie Donald McKnight, 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Obion County Memorial Gardens.
There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services.
