Bobby L. Ruddle, 79, of Water Valley passed away at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Saturday evening at approximately 10:30 PM.
He was born August 20, 1932 to H.W. and Myrtle Collins Ruddle. He spent most of his life in the Fulton area and is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sandy Bard Ruddle. One son, Michael L. Ruddle (Carol) of Galva, Kansas, three daughters, Myra (Bobby) Mann of Gilbertsville, KY, Vanessa (Johnny) Bernero of Arlington, TN and Cynda (Terry) Lamphier of Troy, TN, 13 Grandchildren, 19 Great-grandchildren and 3 Great, great grandchildren and three very special nieces.
He was preceded in death by one son, Robert A. (Tony) Ruddle and one Granddaughter, Tracey Beecham.
He was a 1950 GED graduate of Fulton City High School, a graduate of The Chrysler Institute of Technology and attended classes at Mid-Continent University, Mayfield, KY. Due to his compromised immune system he was an inactive member of the Fulton/So. Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he taught the Wednesday night adult Bible Study class for several years.
He spent many years working in law enforcement and retired as Head of Security at General Tire and Rubber Company, Mayfield, KY
