Bro. Gayle Barnes

Bro. Gayle Barnes, age 82, of Water Valley, KY passed away Monday,
September 21, 2020 at the Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

He was born on August 13, 1938 in Water Valley, KY to the late Burnie Woodrow
and Osella Boyd Barnes.

Bro. Gayle was a former Pastor of the Old Wingo Cumberland Presbyterian
Church for 30 years, then began Morning Star Ministries, where he was currently
preaching until his death. He loved the Lord and was an avid horse lover and
a motorcycle rider.

He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Tom) Personius of Mayfield,
KY, three sons; Brian Stephen Barnes of Fulton, KY, Jesse Randal Barnes of
Water Valley, KY and Jordan (Kelly) Barnes of South Fulton, TN, four grandchildren;
Chance (Paige) Barnes of Mayfield, KY, Hadley, Hudson and Hayden Barnes all
of South Fulton, TN, three brothers; Gerald (Clarice) Barnes of Water Valley, KY,
Mike (Patricia) Barnes of Water Valley, KY, Roger (Debbie) Barnes of Water Valley,
KY and three sisters; Judy Brown of Wingo, KY, Ouida (Mark) Fields of Convoy, OH
and Carol Pounds of South Fulton, TN.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Green
Barnes, a sister Rita Jean Barnes and a brother-in-law Robert Brown.

Private family services will be held.
