Buford McGuire

Mr. Buford McGuire, age 85, of South Fulton died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He was a member of the Peoples Place in South Fulton, TN and had
worked for General Tire as a forklift operator. Mr. McGuire was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict. He had lived in this area most of his life.

He is survived by his wife Betty Jackson McGuire of South Fulton, TN
whom he married May 19, 1955, two daughters and sons in law Deborah
Kay McGuire Powell (Tom) of South Fulton, TN and Kim Marie McGuire
Crews (Don) of Dyersburg, TN and a son and daughter in law Stephen
Buford McGuire (Emelie) of South Fulton, TN, eight grandchildren;
Dr. John Michael Roach of Paducah, KY, Patrick Brandon Powell of
Cape Coral, FL, Brandy Nichole Whitehead of Ankeny, IA, Brittany
Rene' Pereira of Daytona Beach, FL, Kayla McKinney of Wingo, KY,
Stephen Andrew McGuire of South Fulton, TN, Destiny Sophia McGuire
of South Fulton, TN, Carter Cameron Crews of Nashville, TN, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ed McGuire and Claira Edna Warren McGuire Wiggins, two sisters, Hazel Hill and Helen Jane McGuire and a brother Robert McGuire.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am Monday, December 4 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-7 pm on Sunday.
