Mrs. Carlene Caldwell Stokes Jolley, age 97, formerly of the Twin Cities area died Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Auburndale, FL.
She was a member of the Fulton First United Methodist Church and had been a school teacher with the Obion Co. School system where she taught at South Fulton Elementary School. She was also a member of the Obion County Retired Teachers Association.
Mrs. Jolley is survived by a daughter Susan Stokes (Ernest) Bostelman Jr of Auburndale, FL, five grandchildren Courtney (Jeff) Mason of Mayfield, KY, Ellen (Antonio) Sanchez-Garcia of Jupiter, FL, Troy Ladd (Lacey) Stokes of South Fulton, TN, Laurie Bostelman (Mike) Ullom of Lake Hamilton, FL and Frederick (Cheryl) Bostelman of Houston, TX and seven great grandchildren Arabella and Sterling Sanchez-Garcia of Jupiter, FL, Paxton and Allyson Pair of Mayfield, KY, Thomas Ladd and Laney Stokes of South Fulton, TN and Ford Bostelman of Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Thomas Ladd Stokes and
Fred N. Jolley, her parents Clarence Boone Caldwell and Eva Mary
Grissom Caldwell, her son Ladd Stokes and a grandson Thomas Ladd
Stokes III.
Memorial services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, June 4 at the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, with visitation from 2 pm until the hour of service.
