Caroletta Holt, age 79, of Fulton, KY died June 2, 2009 at 12:11 p.m. at the Clinton - Hickman ICF nursing home in Clinton, KY.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton,KY and was also a member of the United Methodist Women and the Cokesbury Sunday School Class. She was the vice president of the former City Drug Store in Fulton.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Edward R. Holt of Fulton,KY; 4 daughters Cathy Coleman Bennett of West Des Moines, Iowa, Denise Coleman Postell of Locust Grove, GA, Ann Holt Newton of Bartlett, TN, & Ellen Reid I'Anson of Friendswood, TX; 2 sons Michael
Coleman of Concord, NC and Freddie Coleman of Paducah, KY.
9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Susan Love Wait, her parents Clarence and Margery (Robinson) Samuels and a sister Katie Hoopaw.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 noon Thursday until the funeral hour.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 200 Carr St.,Fulton, KY 42041 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
