She was of the Baptist faith and had been a seamstress for the former shirt factory in Clinton, KY. She had been a resident of the Haws Nursing Home since 2000.
She is survived by a sister Martha Sue Conner of Selma, CA
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Davis, her parents Oscar E. and Pearl (Patterson) Campbell, and 3 brothers.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday,December 29, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton, KY.
There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for graveside services.
