Mr. Charles A. Browder, age 88, of Fulton, KY died Monday, May 30, 2011 at Martin Healthcare Center in Martin, TN.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. He was the former owner of Marine Oil Company in Fulton and was an avid
golfer. He was a Mason(Roberts Lodge # 72), Shriner and was a former member of the Fulton Rotary Club.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wilma (Harris) Browder of Fulton,KY; a daughter and son in law Jen Ray and Allen Gearhart and a son and daughter in law Tom and Debbie Browder, all of Fulton, KY and a grandson Grant Gearhart of Chapel Hill, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents Opal (Nanney) and Charles
Thomas Browder.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 4 at 10 am at the Palestine Cemetery on Middle Road in Fulton with Grant Gearhart officiating. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
