Charles Dwayne Cathey

Mr. Charles D. Cathey, age 56, of South Fulton, TN passed away Tuesday,
August 21, 2018 at his residence.

He was of the Baptist faith and had been a roller die operator for the former
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and had worked for Titan Tire. He had
also worked at several body shops. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and
loved working on cars.


He is survived by his wife Lisa Morris Cathey of South Fulton, TN, whom
he married July 16, 1983, a daughter Valerie Bynum (Matthew) and a son
Curtis Cathey (Allie) all of South Fulton,TN; three grandchildren Dylan
Bynum, Lucas Cathey & Sophia Cathey, his mother Diana Swearingen Cathey,
a brother Billy Cathey, two sisters Teresa Mulcahy (Earl) and Diana L. Cathey
Cook, his in-laws Shirley Hood Mann, and David and Shirley Mann,
all of South Fulton and several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.


He was preceded in death by his father Charles H. "Herb" Cathey.



A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2PM Sunday in our funeral chapel
with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at
the funeral home from 5-7PM Saturday and after 12Noon Sunday until the hour of
service.
