Charles "Charlie" Stephens

Mr. Charles Lee "Charlie" Stephens of South Fulton died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
He was a member of the Water Valley Baptist Church, a former
employee of Union Carbide in Paducah, KY and he retired from the
former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City, TN, where
he had worked in the maintenance department. He had lived in this
area all of his life.
Mr. Stephens is survived by his wife Annie Green Stephens of South Fulton, TN whom he married March 24, 1963, two sons Greg Stephens (Kerri) of Owensboro, KY and James Stephens of South Fulton,TN, a
daughter Laurie Thorpe (Jimmy) of Fulton, KY, 14 grandchildren,
5 great grandchildren and a brother Tony Stephens (Pat) of
Fulgham, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents Murell and Laura Bard
Stephens, a grandchild and a sister Maxine Webb.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, July 16 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Water Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 am Saturday until the funeral hour.
