Charles "Chuck" Akers, Jr.

Mr. Charles "Chuck" Akers, Jr., age 58, of South Fulton, TN died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
He had worked at Sara Lee in Newburn, TN for the past 24 years
where he was a lead and had lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Teresa (Archie) Akers of South Fulton,TN
two daughters Niki McBride of Union City,TN and Ashley Akers of
Jackson, TN, two grandchildren Aiden McBride and Layla McBride, both of Union City,TN; his mother Mary (Gatton) Akers of South Fulton,TN; three brothers Phil Akers, George Akers, and Mike Akers all of South Fulton, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles Huffman Akers, Sr.
and a sister Pamela Akers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wed., June 20 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with interment in the Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 pm and on Wed. after 8am until the funeral hour.
