Charles Houston Linder, age 83, of Hickman, KY died November 15, 2010 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.
He was a member of the Cayce United Methodist Church and was a
member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class, was a veteran
of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II in the Sea Bee Branch and was a retired farmer. He was a former director of the Federal Land Bank in Mayfield, KY and had lived in Fulton Co., Kentucky all of his life.
He is survived by his wife Thelma (Johnson) Linder whom he married
Jan. 26, 1952, of Hickman, KY; 2 sons and a daugher in law: Charles Johnson Linder and wife Lora of Hickman, KY and John Whitson Linder of Murfressboro, TN; 2 grandchildren:Samuel Houston Linder and Patrick Lynn Linder both of Hickman, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thelma Louise (Menees) and
Clyde Henry Linder.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, November 17 at the Cayce United Methodist Church in Cayce, KY. Interment will be in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will also be at the Cayce United Methodist Church from 4-8 pm on Tuesday and from 9-11 am on Wednesday.
