Mr. Charles H."Chuck" McGuire, a resident of South Fulton TN., died Saturday at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton,KY and had been the plant manager for National Steel in Michigan. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific theater and he also accompanied Marines as a medic. He had lived in Hazel Park,MI from 1947- 1990 and then moved to South Fulton, TN.
He is survived by his wife Betty R.(Stanley) McGuire, South Fulton, TN whom he married Feb. 21, 1947, a daughter and son in law Karen G. & Jimmie Brown, South Fulton,TN, 2 sons and daughters in law Keith A. &
Pam McGuire of Helena, Montana and Kevin D. & Val McGuire of
Sterling Heights, MI; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a brother Lindy McGuire of Huntingdon, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard L. and Fleetie (McClain)McGuire and 3 sisters Claira Cook, Cless McClain, and Inez Harrison.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation
will be at the funeral home from 5-9 pm on Wed. and after 8am on Thursday until the funeral hour.
