Daniel J. Melvin

Mr. Daniel J. Melvin, 83, of Hickman, KY died at his residence on May 29, 2021.

He was a commercial fisherman was of Baptist and attended the West Baptist Church in Hickman.

Mr. Melvin was born on October 27, 1937 in Atmore, AL to the late Leo Gordon and Maybelle Melvin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Mamie Melvin of Hickman, sons, Ricky Melvin and Donald Melvin, both of Atmore, AL, Andrew and James Richardson, both of Mobile, AL, daughters, Deborah Melvin of Atmore, AL, Linda Richardson, Laura Appling and Vivian Appling ,all of Mobile, AL, sister, Dorothy Chavers of Florida, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the Hickman City Cemetery on Wednesday, June 2^nd with Bro. Jason Sipes officiating. Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery at 1:00 P.M. There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers are:  Nicki Denman, Chad Parker, Frank Denman, Sr., Chad Warren, Donnie Evans and Frank Denman, Sr.
