Mrs. Doris Faye Potts Callis, age 72, of Martin, TN died Monday December 2, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
She was a member of the Mt. Pelia Baptist Church, was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company where she worked in the final finish department. She lived in Martin most of her life.
She is survived by her husband James E. Callis, three sons; Jimmy W. (Julie) Callis, Stephen G. Callis, Scott N. Callis all of Martin, TN, four grandchildren; Justin Callis of Nashville, TN, Jada (Drew)Callis Cunningham of Knoxville, TN, Zachary Callis of Nashville, TN, Ashton Callis of Bowling Green, KY, two sisters Margrette Cox of Gillespie, IL,
Margie Hicks of Forest Park, IL, two brothers Ted Potts of Palmersville, TN, Larry Potts of Henry, TN and a very special niece Lacy J. Potts of Henry, TN.
She is preceded in death by her parents Curly R. and Byrdie Pickens Potts, five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home from 5 to 8 Wednesday.
