Doris M. Wilson

Mrs. Doris M. Wilson of Water Valley, KY died October 25, 2010 at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY.

She was a Sunday School teacher and an Awana teacher at the
Water Valley Baptist Church where she was a member. She was also
a member of the Tri County Homemakers, Water Valley Fire Department Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary in Fulton,KY. She was a caretaker for the elderly and had lived in this area most of her life.

She is survived by 3 daughters Marilyne McGraw of Memphis, TN,
Sandy Sullivan (Dale) of Mayfield, KY and Della Wilson of Missoula,Montana; a son Ed Wilson of Union City, TN; 4 grandchildren Joshua Green of Memphis, TN, Cory Pleasant of Corinth, MS, Corporal Sean
Linder of Japan and Clinton Linder of Murray, KY; 2 step grandchildren, Stacy Sullivan and Matthew Sullivan, both of Mayfield, KY; 1 great grandchild Ryland Pleasant of Corinth, MS and 2 brothers Harold
Marshall and Donald Marshall, both of Paducah, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ewing Edward Wilson,
her parents Kathryn (Hicks) and John Marshall, a daughter Sharon
Ward, a brother John Marshall and two sisters Jean Wigginton and
Fern Guthrie.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, October 29 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Water Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 pm and on Friday after 8 am until the funeral hour.
