Dorotha Jane Yates

Mrs. Dorotha Jane Yates, age 96, of Germantown, TN and formerly of the Fulton/South Fulton area died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Quince Nursing and Rehab Center in Memphis, TN.
She was a member of the South Fulton United Methodist Church and the
Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Yates worked for the Bellsouth phone company
where she was an operator.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Huffstetler of Germantown, TN, two grandchildren; Vicki Huffstetler of Memphis, TN and Brenda Hahr of Milton, FL, two great grandchildren; Bryanna and Caleb Hahr of Milton, FL and a sister Joann Ferguson of Memphis, TN.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Yates, a son Terry Young, her parents, Mancel and Ara Rawls Roach, a brother and eight sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1PM Saturday in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11AM Saturday until time to leave for the cemetery.
