Mrs. Dorothy Barker, age 87, of Fulton died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton, KY.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton,KY and
was a homemaker. She had lived in this area most of her adult life.
She is survived by a son Bruce Barker of South Fulton, TN and a daughter Brenda Nanney of Fulton, KY, four grandchildren Ann Shepherd Rice, Laura Elizabeth Blane, Adam Howard Barker and Reid Elliott Barker, and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Virgil Barker, her parents Anna (Brown) and William B. Johnson and an infant brother.
Memorial graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 23 at 3:30 at the Mt. Kenton Cemetery in Paducah, KY. There will be no visitation held and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the service hour.
