Mrs. Dorothy M. Cox, age 89, of Waterloo, IL, and formerly of South Fulton,TN died October 6, 2010 at the Oak Hill Nursing Home in Waterloo, IL.
She was a member of the Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton,TN and had been a seamstress for Henry I. Siegel Clothing Company. She had been an active member of the American Legion Auxilliary and had also served as past president.
She is survived by four sisters: Mable Adams Badalamenti of Lamont,
IL, Dora Callison Badger of Tiptonville, TN, Rose Callison Worthy of Union City, TN and Martha Callison Hardy of St. Louis, MO and two brothers J.C. Adams of Trimble, TN and Floyd Callison of Fulton,KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wade Hampton Cox,
her parents Charles and Jessie (Reeves)Adams Callison and a
brother Harry Callison.
Funeral services for Dorothy M. Cox will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, KY. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12:00 p.m. Friday until the funeral hour.
Memorials may be made to the Smith Street Church of Christ, 411 Smith Street, South Fulton, TN, 38257.
