Mrs. Dorothy Vaughan Evetts, 78, of Fulton and formerly of Nashville, TN died Friday at Grace Healthcare at White's Creek in Nashville.
Mrs. Evetts was born in Stewart County Tennessee on December 18, 1932 and had lived in the Nashville area most of her life.
She was a dental assistant for Dr. William Burrus and a tour guide for the Ryman Theatre in Nashville. She had attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for the last several years.
She is survived by three sons, Pete Morgan of Fulton, KY, Randal and Michael Morgan, both of Nashville, TN, one sister, Eolene Simpson of Louisville, KY, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Graham Plummer and Mary Lela Wallace Vaughan.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Crow Cemetery in Bumpus Mills, Tn.
