Mrs. Dorothy Powell, age 84, of Fulton, KY died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters Patricia Sampson (William) of Fulton,KY and Sherry Lindsey of Mayfield,KY; three sons William J. Powell (Elaine) of Sturgis, KY, Millard Ray Powell and Dale Wayne Powell, both of Fulton,KY;
seventeen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Millard Alton "Jack" Powell, her parents Hubert and Stella Beatrice Connell Doss, a grandson Chris Powell, three brothers and a sister.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, July 27 at the Union Cemetery in Fulton Co., KY. There will be no visitation held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
