Dorris B. Allen

Mr. Dorris B. Allen, age 88, of the Pilot Oak community died Friday, May 11, 2018
 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

He was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, was a United States
Army veteran where he served in the Korean War. He worked for the former
Merit Clothing in Mayfield, KY and owned and operated Allens Small Engine
Repair in Pilot Oak, KY. He lived most of his life in the Pilot Oak community.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Dorsie Starling Allen whom he married April 20, 1957, a
son Randall (Annette) Allen of South Fulton, TN, two grandchildren; Jennifer and
Amanda Allen both of South Fulton, TN, one great grandchild Jamison Cranford of South Fulton, TN.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Verlie Ables Allen and his
twin brother Horace Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the 
Wesley Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 
5-8PM on Monday.
