Dr. Andrew P. Nelson

Dr. Andrew P. Nelson of South Fulton, TN died Wednesday, August 21 at his residence.
He was a member of Smith Street Church of Christ and the Fulton Country Club and was a veteran of the U. S Army. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Medical College In Memphis, TN and he practiced medicine in Fulton, KY from 1961-1989 and was a former Chief of Staff at Parkway Regional Hospital.
He is survived by one son Andrew P.(Cindy) Nelson Jr. of North Augusta, SC and one daughter Eve(Bill) Nelson Dodson of Littleton, CO and three grandchildren Andrew Nelson III, Jacob Nelson, Anna Kate Nelson all of North Augusta, SC and a special friend, Mary Reams of South Fulton, TN.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sue Adcock Nelson, one brother Martin Young Nelson and his parents Charles Tate Nelson and Evelyn Young Nelson.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, August 24 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call the funeral home 9 am Saturday until the funeral hour.
