Mrs. Edna Erland Yates, age 78, of South Fulton, TN died January 13,2011 at her home.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton KY and was a former secretary for Fulton City Schools Board of Education. She had lived all of her life in this area.
She is survived by two sons, Virgil Dale Yates of South Fulton TN, John Keim Yates of Dresden TN and one grandchild, Margaret Lynn Yates of South Fulton TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Virgil Yates in 2007, her mother and stepfather, Erland(Norphlett) and Oakley Ballard, and a brother, Joseph Champ Reaves.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday in our funeral chapel. Entombment will follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 am Saturday until the funeral hour.
