Emma Sue Nelson
February 7, 1927 — June 28, 2007
She was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church of Fulton, KY. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1949. She came from Sparta,TN and moved to this area in 1961. The family will always remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband - Dr. Andrew P. Nelson of South Fulton,TN, a son - Andrew Nelson Jr. and wife Cindy of North Augusta,South Carolina and a daughter - Eve Nelson Dodson and husband Bill of Denver,CO. 3 grandchildren - Andrew Nelson III, Jacob Nelson, and Anna Kate Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her parents - Clarence and Ruby Ann (Jared) Adcock.
Graveside services for Mrs. Emma Sue Nelson will be held at 12 noon Saturday (6/30)at the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10am Saturday until time to leave for the cemetery for graveside services.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton Public Library or the Fulton/South Fulton Relay for Life.
