She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY and was a homemaker. She had lived in this area all of her life.
She is survived by her husband, whom she married September 12, 1942, Duward B. McAlister of Fulton, KY. A daugher - Cathy Hooper of Wichita, Kansas and a daughter in law - Glenda McAlister of Severna Park,
Maryland. 4 grandchildren: Travis Hooper of Wichita, KS, Lauryn McAlister, Darrin McAlister & Meredith McAlister all of Severna Park,Maryland. A brother - Donald Winstead of Warren, IL and 3 sisters:
Nell Jones of Fluorescent, MO, Alma Holmes of Jackson, TN and Glenda Duke of Chicago, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents- Bernice & Fannie (Nanney)
Winstead, a son - Duane McAlister, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services for Mrs. McAlister will be held at 2 pm Wednesday (6/6) in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Wesley Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-8 pm and anytime Wednesday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the Wesley Cemetery
