Everett "Woody" Woodruff

August 6, 1930 — June 2, 2009

Everett "Woody" Woodruff died June 2, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in Lexington, KY.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a United States
Navy veteran. He retired from Rockwell International as an electrical engineer, was past Master of Lodge #943, member of Lodge #20, member of the pioneer amateur radio club, past chairman of the LEPC in Winchester, and member of Clark County R/C Barnstormers Model Airplane Club. After retirement, he worked for 5 years for the
Winchester Clark County disaster emergency services.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbye (Bowlin) Woodruff of Winchester, KY,two daughters and a son in law, Lisa Kays of Harris Township, MI, and Lori and Dwight Tenny of Lexington, KY, one brother, Nathan Woodruff of Ooltewah, Tennessee, four grandchildren, Tamra K. Reid,
Mike Kays, Jr., Amanda Tenny, and Wynn Tenny, two nieces and one
nephew. Also a cousin Lynn Bowlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Tommie and Lorene (Hodges)
Woodruff.

Graveside services will be at 2 pm Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Dukedom, Tennessee. Visitation will be at the Hornbeak Funearal Home from 12 noon on Saturday until time to leave for the cemetery for services.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 436 Kingswood, Lexington, KY 40502.
