Flora May King

Mrs. Flora May King, 71, of Hickman, KY, passed away at Fulton Nursing and Rehab on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Mrs. Flora was born on December 16, 1950 in Hickman, KY to the late Forest Rothman and Mary Pearlie (Goff) Ethridge. She lived most of her life in Hickman, was of the Baptist faith, and a member of the East Baptist Church in Hickman, KY.

In addition to her parents, Flora is preceded in death by her son, David King, two brothers, Carl and Donald Gene Rothman, and a sister, Debbie Rothman Williamson.

She is survived by her son Glenn Allan King and fiancé Angeka Call of Paducah, KY, daughter Beth (Jimmy) Hudson of Paducah, KY, brother Billy Joe (Velma) Ethridge of South Fulton, TN; sisters Janie (Larry) Connell of Fulton, KY, Lulabelle Stroud of Martin, TN, Rosemary (Harold) Baker of Union City, TN, Sherry Ethridge of Manford, TN, Susie Ethridge Chappel and her fiancé Rob Gordy of Crossville,TN; grandchildren Xavier and Jamual Taylor, Olivia and Elijah King, all of Paducah, KY, and Aaron and Blake King of Fort Payne, AL.

Funeral services for Mrs. Flora May King will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home with Bro. John Poore officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home and again on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until service time.

Gary Blasinghim, Xavier Taylor, Tony Stroud, Glenn Allan King and Roy Adams will serve as pallbearers.
