She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she was a member of the WOM and a retired employee for the Atlantic Insurance Co. in New York City, NY. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the
VFW. She came from Brooklyn NY and had lived in Fulton, KY for the past 10 years.
She is survived by a son, John Capozzi of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and a sister, Loretta Panaro of Fulton KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents Salvatore and Frieda (Wuchner) Placanica, a daughter Patricia Capozzi, one brother and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at 6PM Tuesday at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. No visitation or services will be held at the funeral home.
