Frank Moore, Jr.

January 10, 1919 — March 3, 2011

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton KY where he was a member of the Crews Sunday School Class. He retired
December 1, 1969 from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service
having served in WWII, the Korean Conflict, and also flew the Berlin Airlift. He was a member of the B-17 Bomber Crew while serving in WWII. He was a college graduate of Murray State University . He was a school
teacher for the Fulton City School System retiring in 1979. He was a member of the KY Retired Teachers Association, Fleet Reserve Association of the U.S. Navy and a member of the American Legion Post #72 in Fulton KY.
He had lived most of his life in this area.

He is survived by four cousins, Judith Ann Anderson and Mary Helen Mayfield both of Hickman KY, James Leland Clack of Horse Cave KY, and Worden Gray, Jr. of Memphis TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine B. Moore
December 27, 2000, his parents, Frank and Loma (Gray) Moore, a brother, Johnny Willis Moore a sister, Dorothy Nell Moore, and an aunt Helen Everett.


Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday in our funeral chaple. Burial will follow in the Greenlea Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8PM Friday.
