He had retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City,
TN in 2003, where he had been a labor trainer. He had also been
in the National Guard. He had lived in this area all of his life.
He is survived by his wife- Peggy (Fuller) Jackson, whom he married
May 2, 1970, of the Latham community, 2 sons: Garry "Sonny"
Jackson, II of Dresden, TN and Darron "Mike" Jackson of Ripley, TN. 2 grandchildren- Savannah Nicole Timonen & Nathan Aron Jackson, both of Dresden, TN. 3 sisters: Betty McGuire of South Fulton, TN, Helen Hicks of Fulton, KY and Mary Holland of Wingo, KY. 2 brothers:Roy Eugene Jackson of St. Louis, MO & Vodie Jackson, Jr. of Kennett,MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents- Vodie & Rachel (Stephens)
Jackson, a sister and 2 brothers.
