Mr. Gene Intindola, age 91, of South Fulton died Thursday at the Park Terrace Village in South Fulton,TN.
He was a member of the St. Edwards Catholic Church in Fulton, KY and was a local business man. He had attended Brialey Military Academy and the University of Maryland. He played professional baseball for the Philadephia Phillies organization and then moved to
Fulton where he concluded his baseball career with the Kittie League. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a longtime member of the Fulton Country Club.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews,and great great nieces and great great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Adelle (Homra) Intindola, his parents, Neil and Antionette Intindola, four brothers Pat Intindola, Jerry Intindola, Mike Intindola, and Nick Intindola; two sisters Rose Intindola and Tessie Intindola.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, Aug. 6, at the St. Edward Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Greenlea Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home ftom 6 to 8 on Friday. Mr. Intindola will lie in state at the St. Edward Catholic Church from 1 to 2PM Saturday.
