Mr. Gene Scott, age 77, of Clinton, KY died January 4, 2015 at Arbor Place in Clinton.
He was a member of the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and had worked at the former J.T Mathis and Son Lumber Company and Fields Ashby Lumber Company. He had lived all of his life in this area.
He is survived by his wife Christine Thomas Scott whom he married
March 5, 1957, four daughters; Wilma (Tyrone) Thomas of Omaha, NE,
Joyce Thomas of Fulton, KY, Wanda Lewis of Arlington, KY, Christina Scott of Clinton, KY, four sons; Norman Wayne (Donna) Scott of Clinton, KY, Stevie Glenn (Tammie) Scott of Columbus, KY, Larry Joe (Theresa) Scott of Arlington, KY, Vickie Lynn (Patricia) Scott of Arlington, KY, sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Oma Sue Cotton Scott, a son, Richard Scott, six sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be at 1PM Saturday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Mount Sinai Cemetery in Oakton, KY. Visitation will be held from 11AM Saturday until the service hour.
