Gene Smoot

Gene Smoot, age 92, of the Dukedom community, died Thursday,
September 9, at her residence.

She attended First Christian Church of Fulton and was a retired clerk for
the former Andrews Jewelry Company in Fulton, KY for 35 years. She had
lived in this area all of her life.

She is survived by a niece and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents Vivian (Elliott) & John
Thomas Smoot and 2 brothers Thomas Harris Smoot and James
Elliott Smoot.

Services are scheduled for Sunday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. at
Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, KY. Interment will follow at the
Oak Grove Cemetery in Dukedom, TN.

Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. Sunday until the funeral
hour.
