George Fredrick Kitchen

Mr. George Fredrick Kitchen, age 93, of the Pilot Oak (KY) community died Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
He was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Pilot
Oak, KY and was retired from the Jackson Purchase Medical Center
having worked in the maintenance department. He was a veteran of the
U.S. Army serving in World War II as a combat medic and he was also
a member of the Air National Guard Reserves. He had lived in the Los
Angeles, CA area until 1975 when he moved to this area.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Jeanette (McClure) Kitchen of the Pilot Oak(KY) community, whom he married 12/29/1963, a daughter Ila Ann Kitchen Watkins of Pilot Oak, KY, two grandchildren Serena Lynn Watkins Anderson of Gainesville, FL and Derek Anthony Watkins of Pilot Oak, KY and three great grandchildren Xavier Daniel, Zion Robert and Cypress Nathaniel Anderson of Gainesville, FL; three sisters Ruth M. Marettia of Clinton, IN, Mary K.Lopez of Glendora, CA and Charlotte J. Yates of Adairsville, GA and a brother Bruce E. Kitchen of West Hills, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus William Kitchen and Rosa
Mae (Cure) Kitchen, four brothers and two sisters.
There will be no visitation or service held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel.
