George Mack Terrell

Mr. George Mack Terrell of the Chestnut Glade Community died Thursday morning at the VA Medical Center in Durham NC.
He was a member of the Sandy Branch Primitive Baptist Church
and was a retired farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He served during World War II where he was a POW in Germany,
received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He lived all of his life in the Chestnut Glade Community.
He is survived by a daughter, Lynda Nichols of Raliegh, NC, a son Timothy M. Terrell of Birmingham, AL, a sister, Mary Catherine Allen of Memphis, TN, four grandchildren, Crista McCuan of Raliegh NC,Alana Gerling of FL, Stephen Mark Terrell and Taylor Williams both of Birmingham, AL, and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Mae (Wall) Terrell and his parents, Joe Dallas and Zula O. (McDougle) Terrell.
Funeral services for Mr. George Mack Terrell will be held at 2 pm Monday, December 28, 2009 in our funeral chapel. Entombment will follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 AM Monday until the funeral hour.
