Gerald "Jerry" Ronald Conder

Mr. Gerald “Jerry” Conder 90, of Hickman died December 25, 2019 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He was retired employee of the former Goodyear Tire Plant in Union City, TN, member of the Hickman Country Club in Hickman and a member of the former Church of Christ in Hickman.  Mr. Jerry was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy having served in the Korean War.

He is survived by his sons, Patrick Steven Conder of Danville, VA and Daniel (Sarah) Conder of Medina, TN, daughter, Amber Conder of Tuscaloosa, AL and step granddaughters, Mary Grace Brittain and Hannah Beth Brittain.

Mr. Jerry was born on August 12, 1929 in Lake County, TN to the late Kelty and Lovie Conder.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Melinda (Patterson) Conder and his brother, Kelty Campton Conder.

Funeral services are set for 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Brown officiating.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 28th at Strong Funeral Home and again on Sunday, December 29^th after 11:00 A.M. until service time.
