Gerald Nanney

August 2, 1944 — March 10, 2011

Mr. Gerald Nanney, age 66 of the Chestnut Glade community died March 10, 2011 at his home.

He had worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority as an electrican for 20 years before retiring. He was a member of the International
Brotherhood of Electricians and Retired Electricians, was a Master Mason and was a member of the Roberts Lodge # 172. He was a past member of the Latham/Dukedom Volunteer Fire Department and was
also a farmer. He had attended school at Chestnut Glade and
Martin High School. He had lived in Weakley Co., TN all of his life.

He is survived by his wife Priscilla (Winston) Nanney of the Chesnut Glade community, whom he married March 31, 1983; two daughters Tracy Johnson and Tammy Hall both of South Fulton, TN, three grandchildren, four sisters Peggy McKinney of South Fulton, TN,Patsy Beale, Pansy Baker and Paula Bell all of Martin, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mike and Mary (Taylor)
Nanney.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday, March 13,2011 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Ruthville. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Saturday and anytime Sunday until the funeral hour.
