Mr. Gilbert Lee Simon of South Fulton, TN died 9-8-09 at his home.
He was a mechanic for UPS Truck Leasing in Orlando, FL and he had lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Ester (Tibbs) Simon of South Fulton, TN
whom he married March 3, 1945. A daughter and son in law Vonda
and Barney Driver of Fulton, KY, 2 sons and a daughter in law
Carl Lee Simon of South Fulton,TN and Jimmy Dale and Marie Simon of Orlando, FL; 2 grandchildren Amy L. Spence of Fulton,KY and Matthew M. Driver of Kalamazoo, MI; 3 great grandchildren
Nichlolas Jernigan of DeBarry, FL, Austin Driver of Allegan, MI and Sophia Spence of Fulton,KY and a sister Dorothy Jenkins of
Benton Harbor, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mallie Guynell (Wray) and
General Lee Simon and a sister Helen Tibbs.
Funeral services will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at 11 am and interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Dukedom, TN.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm Friday and after 8 am Saturday until the funeral hour.
