Ms. Gilda Simmons, age 55, of South Fulton, TN died Saturday, September 25,2010 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
She was a member of the Turning Point Ministries in Hickman, KY and had been a bank teller for Reelfoot Bank in Fulton. She was also a member of the Ken Tenn Homecoming & Reunion Committee and the Ken Tenn Forum. She had lived in this area all of her life.
She is survived by a daughter and son in law LaShonda & Robert
Walker of Jacksonville, NC, 2 sons and daughters in law Charles
and Shala Ingram of Martin, TN and Justin and Amanda Ingram of
Adamsville, AL, her mother Charolette (Hayes) McClure of South Fulton, TN; 7 grandchildren, 2 sisters Melissa McClure of Fulton,KY and Sharon Hutcherson of Martin, TN, 3 brothers Fuchea Ingram of Fulton, KY, Anthony Ingram of Martin, TN and Paster Michael McClure (Tonya) of Hickman, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father James Edward Ingram.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, October 1 at the Bells Chapel CME Church at 301 North Highland Drive in Fulton, KY. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the Bells Chapel CME Church from 11 am Friday until the funeral hour.
